A lot of people in town, including my professor who I recently setup, call me little Miss Matchmaker, only ‘caus matchmaking is natural for me. But even though it’s my favorite hobby, I make a point to fully endorse holding Great Expectations. Because honestly, there’s no way around it, serendipity strikes without notice. The only way to improve your odds is to use a reputable dating services, like Great Expectations Milwaukee. They have a long-history of dating expertise, and understand their members individually to deliver personalized dating recommendations. Great Expectations Milwaukee builds promising blind dates between friends (their members). It’s just about as close as you can get to being setup by a close friend as you can get. I love to see the results, because matchmaking is such an underrated role in the world, providing big changes by improving companionship for lonely singles.

You’ve heard them all the great dating tips, I’m sure. Listen to what your date has to say, display some sense of style, don’t be self-absorbed, be in touch with yourself and (important) steer clear of contrasting traits you have in mind in your mind. Take it breezy, and take your time! Encourage a relationship if you like. Here’s a big no-no: do not complicate things needlessly, attempting to pass as something other than what you are. What if the acquaintance develops into something deep, then you’ll have to reveal your lies. But here’s the secret to dating, it always helps to have the top dating service for Milwaukee Singles. It’s no secret that matchmaking is naturally what I have kept up with for years. My great successes with friends and family created that reputation. My coupled-up friends are hard to ignore.

So I’ve been on the mark and quite resourceful too! Tho I also regret it a little, while I devote myself to thanklessly helping single friends to understand the spirit that fosters real compatability, I looked past my personal dating situation. Do you imagine catastrophy lurks when the dating expert requires a dating service? I can’t wait to meet desirable Great Expectations Milwaukee, because when you’re specialized in an area makes you a perfectionist. Perhaps these sentiments has kept me from really getting serious about dating. If anyone does, I must know it’s not good to exist in life without companionship. Given my track record with Great Expectations, I’m not worried.

First of all take Julie and Daniel now toting about their 4 little ones. Yours truly matched these two at a Brewers game five years ago, and their result is apparent. Frank and Caroline also fell for eachother at first sight because I put them at the same table at a barbecue with my late husband’s family. Let’s not forget my soririty sister Ashley and her life-mate. Those two get hitched in Minneapolis this September. These two love birds built their love via Great Expectations, on my endorsement.

                Irene Noe
Your Matchmaker

It's the cause of a lot of controversy although, nevertheless, there's no shortage of experts out there who regularly employ black ops hypnosis. It's simplistic to mistake hypnosis for "mind control", however, as the old saw concerning mind over matter comes into play; you can convey messages easily and alleviate, maybe even treat, emotional, physical and even mental problems via the unconscious mind. As a result its uses range between the funny tricks broadcast on television or at frat parties and potent assistance for depression or addiction to smoking. It seems somewhat unnerving before you have a chance to investigate it, but it's actually a common practice which generally results in no significant issues.

Though unquestionably the subject of much dispute, numerous experts employ the famous Underground Hypnosis program and its likes as handy procedures. In all probability you know already that you can effectively convey messages to the unconscious mind using these methods, but you perhaps don’t know that you can ease problems, be they physical, mental, or emotional. This could be something as basic as making time for a particular TV show or doing something silly to helping to lift depression and surmounting smoking addiction. We do understand how what you’ve heard might sound a little disturbing, but seasoned practitioners have it down to a science and create few if any issues. black ops hypnosis along the lines of the method passed on via the Underground Hypnosis system boils down to inducing a trance state in someone. How deep the person falls into a trance state, though, is dependent upon their emotional status, personality, and hypnotist’s ability. The least deep degree of trance can be detected at the point where they first begin to relieve the tension in certain smaller muscle systems. As the eyelids feel heavier than ever, they’ll experience lethargy, wanting to fall asleep. Slip deeper and more muscles relax as well, chief among them the shoulders and digits — and in most cases, this doesn’t require much time.

Over time, the subject is so far submerged in their trance state that he or she exclusively hears and sees the hypnotist. Hypnotic suggestion is available once you reach this point. Going further you’ll find you can prevent memory of given situations — or to suppress physical feeling. You can guide your subject into an even more intense trance, little by little introducing them to a level rife with hallucination before reaching a level like that which is reached during general anesthetic. In point of fact, individuals could undergo a medical procedure at this point without feeling pain. The Underground Hypnosis program doesn’t go to that depth; but that won’t be any difficulty. No, when you’re working within traditional limits for hypnosis, you should only employ the less intense levels of trance.

It’s now time to note that this power can be taught to anyone who looks into Underground Hypnosis. By devoting a short while to studying and a little more time working on the things you’ve learned, you’ll quickly develop into quite a skilled hypnotist. That’s all you have to do — no need to be concerned.

Firstly, You couldn’t describe me as terribly satisfied as an “independent” (aka: naturally single) person and not be lying. Even then, I’m not uncomfortable about it, either. I merely bring it up here as a delicious little tidbit introducing what I will shortly discuss honestly.

Last Monday I was talking to Corey, pondering about signing up for the Phoenix Great Expectations dating service. Now, I type to you as a fully satisfied member of the dating service. Totally, it’s true. It’s full of fun, attractive people! If you know me at all, you may be wondering, “You got some ’splainin to do, Lucy!”

Well, I looked at these Great Expectations Reviews and liked what I saw. They’re for quality and professional singles who care enough to know dating doesn’t have to be so frivolous and stupid.

‘Cause I’d never been interested in the ridiculous nightlife ritual serial daters (ie: everyone I know) have christened “The Dating Experience.” I got it all the time. Each night readers pester, “Are you two serious yet?” and “Please tell me you two are dating.”

“Nonsense,” I say to them, and playfully so. “There’s nothing to date!”

“Whatever doofus,” they say. “You have no way to know that!”

Leave it to my friend (on a good day) Stacey McCarthy. She pours the best ideas directly to my core to set me straight. Caring souls are always there . She made a good point, and I joined.

Returning to the message of this blog entry. As I browsed from more than three hundred outfits (hah) and desirable, honest singles for my first singles event with Great Expectations, something occurred to me that was quite true. For years, I hadn’t allowed myself the greatest of actual great expectations for dating in the adventurous journey of this world. Single life has its perks, only with healthy optimism. Having great expectations makes a difference for those who believe.

You were sent to earth with a mission to fulfill. This mission has to do with your passion. If you want to be happy and fulfilled with enthusiasm, you have to discover what your mission is and organize your life and activities in function of your mission. Most people have the wrong idea about their mission. Here are some common misconceptions and the truth about what a mission on earth really is :

1. There is no such thing as a life mission and everything is just a coincidence. There is no such thing as Coincidence. We were sent down to Earth with a mission: to increase our ability to love. Everybody’s mission is unique because of the different ways we go about this. You too have your individual way to spread more love around you. Increasing the love energy on our planet is the ultimate goal of every life form on Earth.

2. Our mission or goal exists outside of us and is waiting to be discovered. Your mission is inside you, manifested by your natural talents, desires and passions. Look at what excites you. What kind of activities bring joy and satisfaction? What is it that you spend countless hours on as a kid? Your mission already exists and you knew it already before you came to Earth. The only thing for you to do now is to remember.

3. Our life goal is a particular occupation or profession. Our life goal is not a well-defined activity. It is much broader than a specific career and contains more than how you’re making a living. It’s a mistake to confuse how you provide for yourself with what your life mission is. It is possible to implement your mission from within your working environment, but it is much larger than that. When you meet new or old friends, always are you able to implement your mission, simply because it is an attitude, a sharing of your core talents.

4. Life is on hold until you have discovered your mission. No need to sit around and wait. You may still be uncertain about your goal in life, but that does not mean your life hasn’t started yet or is not significant. Everything you ran into up to this point in your life does have its importance and has brought you to where you are now: on the road of self-discovery and the fulfillment of your mission.Your life goal is continually being revealed to you, all the time. It’s not a one-off discovery, and then that’s it. It is rather an ongoing process than a single moment. The search and implementation continues throughout your life. This is exactly what your life is: the ongoing discovery and implementation of your mission.

5. You have to change in order to be worthy of discovering your mission. There’s no use in believing there is something wrong with you just because you are still searching. Everybody has a specific mission. Everybody is worthy and has the ability of finding his or her life mission. The desire of your soul to fully participate in the world will attract the right circumstances for you and allow your mission to present itself. Moreover, you are already perfectly equipped with the talents needed to fulfill your mission. All that is needed is your awareness. All that is needed is for you to un-cover them, that means, take them off the shelf and into the center of your life.

6. You can fulfill your mission by imitating somebody else. A person’s life destiny is a strictly individual matter and can thusly not be imitated or copied. You can be inspired by the courage and perseverance of another, but you cannot live a copy of that person’s life. A mission is like a suit in the big wardrobe of life. There is exactly one suit that fits you like a second skin, tailor-made for you only. If you try on the suit made for another, you are making two mistakes. First, your own suit remains in the closet, unused. Second, you have taken the suit of another and are thus taking the wrong place in the switchboard of life. If you’re not following your own mission, then you are following that of another!

7. It’s egotistical and arrogant to occupy yourself with your mission. One has heard many times to be of service to others, help your neighbor and be ready to reach out to those in need. Partly, that’s correct. But instead forgetting about the self and helping any random person who crosses your path, it is better to remember your mission and find out where, when and who it is you need to help. This kind of help will be all the more efficient and at the same time gives you much more satisfaction. Helping the forgetful way is only going to give you loads of frustration. Fatigue and exhaustion is the only result of only helping others while not taking the time to recharge your own batteries. Finding your mission in life and living accordingly is neither egotistical nor arrogant. It is your first responsibility. Remember: “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” This includes loving the self. Living the implementation of your mission radiates enormous amounts of enthusiasm into your environment. This is a significant contribution to the well-being of all lives you touch.

8. You can discover your life mission by intellectual analysis. You will not discover your mission by analysis or intellectual considerations. It is rather a step-by-step process of discovery, driven by the attitude of introspection (looking within the self), by following your passions and by noticing for fundamental connections in your life. You will discover your mission by listening to your intuition and by taking your dreams and visions seriously.

9. You will become famous once you have discovered your mission. Your mission does not necessarily contain fame and popularity. Many people are implementing their mission with a low profile, in their own personal environment. Your success in fulfilling your mission cannot be measured by external signs such as riches or glamour. The real criteria for measuring success are enthusiasm, joy, energy, satsifaction, the knowing that everything has its meaning and the feeling that you are on the right place doing the right thing with the right people.

10. Pursuing your life goal is hard and difficult. Sometimes, while pursuing your life goal, you will have moments of fear, doubt and anxiety. You might often wonder if you’ve made the right choice, and if you couldn’t have just kept things the way they were. But as you come closer to fulfilling your life goal, these doubts and fears will be replaced by enthusiasm, joy, happiness, satisfaction and the feeling that life has deep meaning.

If you have a very low self esteem or a lack of self-confidence you may be seeking help to gain extra confidence.

I was somebody who had a severe confidence crisis from the ages of four until the age of around twenty two.

At the age of twenty two I started on a mission of self improvement and to try to make myself increase happiness levels in my own life.

I started reading various books and articles on increasing confidence and gaining self esteem.

In one of the books, it had a chapter on what was named, “You have to start to like yourself”.

It started by saying that there are probably some things in your life and about your person that you are not happy with. Some of these you are unable to change, therefore however hard it might be, you have to accept them, and even try to start to like them. Other things about your life or your person which you are not happy with you are able to change, therefore however hard it might be you have to work towards changing them.

The things I was not happy with was:
My weight, this can be changed. Being overweight was mainly my fault, my diet and lack of exercise.

I had a bald patch on my head, this is something which I believed could not be changed, therefore I had to accept it.

I am quite short for a male, this is something which I am unable to change.

I had a severe stutter, this was something which after a lot of hard work I managed to overcome.

Stephen Hill

Be careful what you believe because that is what you will experience. Your belief system is a mechanism which is uniquely yours. It is powered by your desire and controlled by your thoughts and actions. In other words, your success is measured by the strength of your belief.

What is it that you desire? Often people do not have a clue what it is they want, they just know what they do not want. Now is a good time to evaluate your goals and determine the end result you want to achieve. Put your goals in writing and place them where you can see them throughout the day. Read them frequently to keep them fresh on your mind.

•	Be inquisitive. Research and learn as much as you can on how you can achieve your goal. Use all possible resources such as books, CDs, courses and people. Yes, people. Talk to as many people as possible who are already successful in what you want to achieve. Ask, ask and ask some more about what they did to reach success. Do not limit your contacts to only the people you already know. Introduce yourself by phone or mail, explain your purpose for contacting them and ask for a tip. The worst thing that can happen is that they ignore you. The best thing that can happen is that they become your mentor and offer support and encouragement. Chances are you will receive at least one great tip from many of the people you contact. This method is the least expensive and most rewarding.

•	Be unique. Next, take the ideas you learn, embellish them and come up with your own creative process. Think of how you can approach your goal in a way that no one else has. Dare to be different. Don’t be afraid to take risks. What do you have to loose? Write out a list showing the worst things that could happen and then list all of the best possible outcomes. Always maintain your concentration on your desired result.

•	Be better than your competition. When you were a child and saw your older siblings or friends riding a bike (without training wheels), you didn’t look at their scraped knees and elbows and say, “Whoa, I could get hurt doing that.” Instead, you begged to try it for yourself. With a great deal of practice and often pain, you gradually learned how to maintain your balance. Before long you were trying to “out do” your friends with your speed or fancy tricks. When you fell, you would get back on and try again with even greater determination. From your very first effort, you believed in your mind that if you got back on, you would eventually learn to ride. I bet you even knew in your mind you would be the best in the neighborhood, in your school, in the state, in the world!

•	Be positive. If you see obstacles before you, then you will also only see problems. If you have hesitations that you plan will not work, then it will not work. If you are influenced by the power of negative people, then you will never be any better than they are. Believe in yourself and what you are capable of achieving.

When your desire to succeed is stronger than the pain, fear or frustration of failing, there is no turning back. I challenge you to view your goals just like you did when you were a child before you learned about self doubt and negative criticism. Remember, anything is possible as long as you believe. Make a commitment that you will not let anything or anyone, including yourself stand in your way of reaching your goals.

In the chapter, “Corporalita: The cultivation of grace, ambidexterity, fitness, and poise”, of his book, “How to think like Leonardo da Vinci”, Michael Gelb describes Da Vinci’s practices and attitudes about wellness and physical fitness. He invites us to explore and apply many principles.

Self-Care. “Da Vinci believed that we should accept personal responsibility for our health and well-being” (page 194).

I was pretty thrilled to read this, considering my own passion for self-care and my belief in our personal role in our own health and wellness. Years after quitting smoking and adopting Daily rituals of self-care, I can now truly say that self-care is a way of life for me. A way of life that keeps me healthier and happier than I’ve ever been before!

Self-care requires two basic beliefs. If you don’t believe them yet, pretend until you do. The first belief is that it doesn’t matter what other people might be thinking about us – that’s their problem. When pleasing other people becomes more important than our own health, we’ll always be out of sync with our self-care goals.

The second, and possibly the most challenging, is the belief that we deserve to be healthy and well. Until we do, we’ll always find ways to sabotage our efforts.

Adopting these beliefs can feel very foreign after years of being controlled by people-pleasing tendencies and by feelings of low self-worth.

A great place to start is recognizing when you’re reacting to those old beliefs. Make an effort to shift things, in the moment, and try on more healing beliefs and healthier habits.

In Gelb’s self-assessment, he asks us whether we’re “aware of the ways in which my physical state affects my attitudes”, and, consequently, whether we’re “aware of the ways in which my attitudes affect my physical state” (page 196), bringing us to Da Vinci’s next principle.

Mind/body connection. Da Vinci obviously believed strongly in the mind-body connection. We know from the Law of Attraction that, “what you focus on, grows”. A positive attitude and beliefs (including the two I mention above), healthy and supportive relationships and a sense of personal empowerment can all do wonders for your physical health.

Be aware of the language that you use for health issues. Are you fighting an illness (conjures images of combat, anger, struggle, winning versus losing) or are you encouraging health (conjures images of nourishment, blooming, healing, radiating, glowing)?

If you’re tempted to focus on something that hurts (maybe your neck is sore after a long Day on the computer), you can focus instead on being grateful that the rest of your body is healthy and well enough to carry you around through the Day.

When you’re sick, talk and act as if you’re getting healthier by the moment. Because you are! Focusing on what you’re growing into (health) and not what you’re growing out of (illness) keeps you more positive and keeps things moving in the right direction.

Mindful Eating. “Don’t eat, dine”. Da Vinci’s approach to physical health was simple and full of common sense – balanced physical activity that included aerobic, strength and flexibility exercises, emotional wellness, balance and moderation.

He also touted mindful eating (making dining a pleasurable and sensual experience, one to enjoy and savour), and suggested the best time to stop eating is JUST BEFORE you feel full. That’s a lot easier to do if you’re paying attention while you’re eating!

Think back to the last time you ate a meal among purposefully chosen surroundings – soothing music or positive conversation to listen to, delectable aromas to smell hours before your meal, pleasant colours and textures surrounding your eating area and delicious, fresh, wholesome and natural foods to taste and savour.

Quite different from how many of us eat – on the run or standing up, listening to chatter or the depressing television news, and surrounded by stacks of unopened mail, business folders, laundry or whatever else happens to have landed in our dining space.

Body awareness. We spend much of our time in our brains, rarely tuning into what’s carting them around and keeping them safe. Breathing exercises and other mind-body practices are simple pathways to body awareness. Tuning in to your breath can be grounding in moments of stress and anxiety, or as a way of enjoying positive moments on an even deeper level.

The Body Remembers. When we perform actions repeatedly, the body remembers them. I notice this when my fingers Dance over the keys when I type the URL to my website, or when I get through playing a song on the guitar while I was so focused on my client I didn’t even realize I’d changed chords. I see this also in my elderly music therapy clients; I once a spent a joyful few minutes observing a woman knit effortlessly, when just a few minutes earlier she was sitting motionless, staring blankly and not responding to my greeting. Her hands just knew what to do when the knitting needles were placed there. Her body remembered.

Ambidexterity. Da Vinci also stressed the importance of developing ambidexterity – the ability to perform tasks equally well using both hands. As a piano student, my two hands had to do a lot of similar things – the left hand didn’t get a break just because I’m right handed!

And I believe that as a result of those early piano experiences (I’ve played from the age of 5), I do have limited ambidexterity. I notice that when I perform some tasks (kitchen jobs, throwing and catching a baseball, bowling, etc.), it’s sometimes difficult to determine which hand is stronger. And sometimes it’s the opposite of the one it’s “supposed” to be.

The drum kit was another instrument that I studied that allowed me to explore ambidexterity. It was always much easier to do if I just “forgot” that my right hand was supposed to be stronger, and just relaxed and let the music and rhythm come through me.

Flexibility. Speaking of relaxing – flexibility training, such as stretching and some types of yoga, can be a wonderful mind-body workout. Tuning into the muscles and body parts that you’re strengthening and stretching is a wonderful way to also tune in to the body.

There’s strength inherent in flexibility. A strength that is pliable and resilient in its very nature, not at all rigid.

And I think this flexibility, this resilience, is at the very heart of a life of self-care, health and wellness. It’s being strong enough to say, “No” when “No” is what needs to be said. It’s being strong enough to stop and change your behaviour when you see you’re stuck in an old unhealthy way of living. It’s being resilient enough to start again after a slip, and it’s being flexible enough to let go of controlling diets and strict regimens.

Da Vinci taught us that to take care of our bodies, we can adopt a series of common-sense practices. I invite you to join me in a life of simple self-care, just carrying on and making one healthy choice after another.

How is your self-expression going? Are you able to set and keep your boundaries? Are you asking for what you want? Are you letting people know if they are meeting your needs? And where are you having difficulty carrying out your self-expression?

Better yet, why is it so important to do all this self-expression stuff?

I think you know the answer to that: If you don’t express yourself, you’ll not get what you want, need or desire in life AND you will get much of what you don’t want. Make sense??

So here are some creative ways to better express
yourself:

•Tell a story that parallels what you are expressing to someone. This works well if someone doesn’t seem to be getting what you are expressing.

•Use a metaphor. Metaphors speak to a different part of the brain and can be helpful for some people who relate better on that level.

•Demonstrate what you are expressing. This can be as simple as using your hands as examples of you and the other person. Some people need the visual stimulus.

•Draw a picture. I use a white board in my office and a flip chart for most presentations I do. You can write what you are expressing and (for some strange reason) some people get this more than the spoken word.

•Do a role reversal. Not everyone will be open to this, but if they are they can get a better understanding of the way they are coming across to you and blocking your message.

•Be the other person’s alter-ego. Stand behind them and say what you think is really going on inside them on an emotional level that may be blocking the conversation.

Do you have other methods? Shoot me an e-mail and let me know what you are doing to express yourself more powerfully.

The bottom-line is this: Not everyone “speaks the same language”. The way that you express yourself may not be the same way that others express themselves.
Some people are visual, some are auditory, some are kinesthetic, some are problem sorters, some are solution sorters…shall I go on?

The more creative and flexible YOU can be, the better the chances you’ll have of getting your message delivered, understood and respected.

So do some experimenting and let me know how it goes.

And never give up!
